Beth's Wedding Cake

This cake was made for our niece's wedding, with fresh roses.
The cake was not real big. I made two large sheet cakes,
cut into serving size squares with an icing rose and leaf on each one.
The sheet cakes were served off from first.
This is a good way to save money when ordering a cake.
A sheet cake is usually much less expensive than the stacked cake,
so order a smaller stacked/tier cake and then sheet cakes to serve from first.

That's gorgeous!

We did the sheet cake thingie for our wedding too. Our cake was a delicious lemon with daisies on it. We had the top layer made of plain white though--another way to save some money.
